Rodenstock's Rocco models were popular from the 60s and 70s onwards, until production ceased in the early 90s.
To reintroduce the brand, a tongue-in-cheek story explained where Rocco had been all this time. (Brochure version of the story below.)
I suggested that users could submit their own reasons for Rocco's disappearance for a chance to win Rocco eyewear.
The client agreed to add this aspect to the campaign.
